Janine Lorente re-elected chair of SAA board of Directors
At its board meeting on 2nd July 2013, SAA re-elected SACD’s Deputy General Manager, Janine Lorente, as the chair of the board of directors and VG Wort’s Managing Director, Robert Staats, as the vice-chair.
Cécile Despringre, SAA Executive Director said: “Janine and Robert have done a great job in a short period of time since first being elected in December 2011. Their re-election shows they have the trust of the membership to drive the SAA in the right direction. With so many issues affecting audiovisual authors’ societies underway or on the horizon, their experience and continued support will be essential.”
