2025: Celebrating 15 years of the SAA

In 2025, the SAA celebrated its 15th anniversary with a series of special events. 

In spring, we invited our members, as well as past and present board members, staff and interns, to an exclusive gathering dedicated to our closest community. We wanted to show our appreciation to those who have contributed to or formed the foundation of our success. 

During the winter, we held a high-profile conference attended by over 100 people, where we explored the urgent issues facing audiovisual authors' rights in an era of rapid technological change. Speakers reflected on our collective achievements over the years and discussed strategies to help screenwriters and directors maintain control over their work and build sustainable creative careers.
