Rendez-vous with European cinema: Slovenian Presidency Screening "Beanie"
Exclusive screening in Brussels of the Slovenian feature film BEANIE directed by Slobodan Maksimović, on Tuesday 30 November at Cinema Galeries.
BEANIE is a family adventure movie telling the story of a boy who has nothing and a girl who seems to have everything embarking on an adventure following fake Santa in the middle of the night. The film is a coproduction between Slovenia, Luxembourg, Slovakia and Croatia that has been supported by the respective national film funds as well as by Creative Europe - MEDIA and EURIMAGES.
The kids-friendly screening (with subtitles in EN and FR) will start at 7.00 pm at Cinema Galeries (Galerie de la Reine) and will be followed by a Q&A session with the director, Slobodan Maksimović and the producer, Ida Weiss, as well as a reception.
The event is organised by EFAD (European Film Agencies) and the Slovenian Film Centre in the framework of the Slovenian Presidency of the EU Council, in partnership with European associations in the culture and audiovisual sector including the SAA.
It will be a unique occasion to celebrate the beauty and diversity of European films!
