Katarzyna Klimkiewicz

Katarzyna Klimkiewicz is a Polish director that graduated from the Polish Film School. She directed her first feature film Flying Blind in 2012 which won several awards including Best Director, Grand Prix and Critics Award at the Polish Festival of First Films Młodzi i Film in Koszalin. Prior to this, she made multiple short films among them being Wasserschlacht – Wielka Wojna Graniczna (Wasserschlacht – The Great Border Battle, 2007) which won the Berlin Today Award at the Berlinale, and Hanoi-Warszawa (Hanoi-Warsaw, 2009) which won Best short at the European Film Awards. Her filmography also includes multiple TV series such as Pierwsza milosc (First Love), Nie rób scen (Don’t make scenes) and Brzydula2. Autumn Girl was her second feature film released in 2021 and she is now currently in development of her third feature film Burnt Grass.
