Ivana Sujová

Ivana Sujová is a screenwriter and festival director from Slovakia. In 2014, she wrote the animated short Rosso Papavero directed by Martin Smatana, which premiered at the Berlinale. Since 2018, she is the director of the Fest Anča International Animation Festival, the only Slovak multimedia festival focused on animated films. In 2019, she founded the series festival Pilot, the only event in Slovakia focused on TV series and their production. Since 2018, she has worked on many indie short films and projects for private broadcasters in Slovakia, including daily dramas and comedy TV series. In 2021, she went on to Serial Eyes, Europe’s premier postgraduate training programme for television writers and producers organised by DFFB (German Film and Television Academy).
