VG Bild-Kunst

The members of VG Bild-Kunst are currently over 60,000 artists who create works in the visual field (art, photography, film). VG Bild-Kunst does not pursue its own economic interests, is financed exclusively from its revenues and membership is free. They have also set up two foundations: Stiftung Kulturwerk and Stiftung Sozialwerk, through which they provide social support. VG Wort can look back on a long history, starting at 1968, in which they fight for better remuneration for artist.
