The SAA is managed by a Board of Directors made up of eight members who are elected for a term of three years. 

On 1 April 2025, the SAA held its General Assembly meeting, closing its books for the year, adopting a strategic plan for 2025-2027 and electing a new Board of Directors.

Barbara Hayes, Chair and Patrick Raude, Vice-chair were re-elected for another term.
